Now the government departments carrying out any kind of work in the municipal corporation boundary area will have to take permission from the municipal corporation. This decision was taken in the Municipal Corporation Executive Meeting which lasted for seven and a half hours on Wednesday. In the meeting chaired by Mayor Ashok Kumar Tiwari, it was decided that a letter to this effect will be sent to all the departments by the Municipal Corporation. During the entire meeting, the Mayor and the members targeted street light and transport in-charge AK Saxena.

It was decided in the meeting that various government departments get work done in the urban limits. Due to this, roads, drains and potholes get damaged. Before getting any work done in the urban limits, all the departments of the district will inform the Municipal Corporation as to when they will start and finish the work.
The executive meeting started at 12 in the morning and lasted till 7:30 in the evening. During this time many proposals were discussed. The mayor said, work should be done in the wards after bringing it to the notice of the councillors. The mayor sought information about the marking of government lands in the newly expanded areas.
On this, Revenue Incharge Anil Yadav said that a survey has been conducted in 79 villages. Councillor Suresh Kumar Patel of Susuwahi said that there are many lands in his ward which have not been marked. The Chief Engineer was instructed to immediately take possession of the surveyed land by erecting pillars and fencing it with wires.
